The 9th International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Africa (Nano Africa 2024) will be held from 20 – 24 October 2024 at Sun City, North West Province, South Africa.

The theme of the conference is Nanotechnology for Societal Impact. Basic nanoscience research has been conducted worldwide for more than two decades. The applications of nanotechnology benefit society by improving and even revolutionising many technology and industry sectors such as electronics, medicine, energy, food safety, agriculture, environmental sciences, water security and quality, among others. NanoAfrica 2024 aims to promote research in the field of nanoscience/ nanotechnology that benefits society and transforms knowledge for sustainable development of Africa. The NanoAfrica international conference also seeks to facilitate the exchange of new ideas and implementation in various fields among academics, engineers, scientists, and industrial personnel.

The NanoAfrica conference will be supported by a Special Issue in the Nano-Structures & Nano-Objects Journal.
